Otorhinolaryngology - head and neck surgery is a professional department which mainly deals with the diseases of ear, nose and paranasal sinuses, throat, neck trachea, esophagus, thyroid, maxillofacial, skull base and neck and face, especially the treatment of tumor diseases.
At present, the Department is divided into East Hospital and headquarters, with 60 beds and an average monthly operation volume of more than 200. There are 6 chief physicians (professors), 3 associate chief physicians (associate professors), 2 attending physicians (lecturers), 4 residents and 3 technicians. Otorhinolaryngology - head and neck surgery has been developed and advanced in clinical medicine, teaching and scientific research since its establishment.
The Department is the first department in China to carry out otorhinolaryngology - head and neck surgery, such as larynx and hypopharynx, cervical esophageal surgery, parapharyngeal surgery, skull base surgery, etc.
After years of development, the Department has achieved a balanced development in the field of Otorhinolaryngology - head and neck. We have rich experience in the treatment of laryngeal and hypopharyngeal tumors, thyroid tumors, and cervical tumors, and have carried out interdisciplinary, interdisciplinary, new and difficult operations with our brother departments.
